Those who have followed me for a while may remember my previous post Pageant Queen. My 9 year old daughter Gracie, just competed in another pageant on 10/19/13. She was very nervous, due to placing low in a previous pageant. I explained to her that she can’t win them all and that she was just as amazing as all of the girls she competed against. I also reminded her that when this no longer became fun, she would not continue to compete. I completely support her as long as she has fun and it builds her confidence. The pageants she has competed in are not Glitz Pageants and have never been “over the top”. She does not wear any extensions, hair pieces, or anything fake other than some minor make up.
Gracie placed first in her age category Deb Miss (ages 9-11) She just turned 9 and was the youngest in her group. (**The scores were very close, and all of the girls were beautiful)
She also won: Photogenic, Top Model, Overall Winner, High Point Winner
After she won she came to me and excitedly said “I love you momma, You are my #1 fan!”
On the way home, I told her she could pick ANYWHERE she wanted to eat, and this is what she chose…lol
