Leftover Kind of Night
Today is only Wednesday, but the week has been so long thus far. Once we came home from work, Brownie troop meeting, and tutoring – there was still homework and studying to be done, clothes to wash, and all of the other household duties. I definitely didn’t feel like cooking dinner or washing the many dishes that go along with it. I had a refrigerator of left overs from the past few nights: tacos, broccoli cheddar soup, spaghetti, and burgers. I decided to warm it all up, serve it on paper plates, and let the kids choose. Gracie has always wanted me to make spaghetti tacos like the kids on iCarly loved, but I just never got around to it. Tonight was her chance. She ate FOUR of them!! :)
Are we the only ones who have a leftover paper plate kind of day??

I have a stash of paper plates – for these types of days. I don’t cook. So – if hubby is out with kid activities – leftovers it is for me & whoever is home with me on that give day.
Glad that I am not the only one!!!
How is the new camera working out? I got one in August and just love it!
I absolutely LOVE it, but I just need to understand it more. It can do so much!! lol
I may need lessons
That’s my kind of dinner. We just had a “Whatever You Can Find” supper last night. They came up with chicken quesadillas, guac and chips, salad, scrambled eggs on toasted English muffins and carrots. But that was only after they tried the whole “I found ice cream in the freezer — can I have that?” trick.
Oh, my kids always try that trick !
Glad I am not the only one
Thank heavens for left over nights,
Paper plates and understanding families!
Spaghetti tacos, I had forgotten!
I have left over spaghetti!
haha! It is now one of Gracie’s favorites
