Vanilla Cinnamon Bread Pudding – no raisins
Ingredients:
Bread Pudding:
- 2c sugar
- 5 large beaten eggs
- 2c milk
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 4c cubed stale bread ( cube the bread and leave out over night)
- 1/2c brown sugar
- 1/2 stick of butter
Sauce/Topping:
- 1c sugar
- 1 stick of butter
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 can condensed milk
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Spray 13X9X2 pan with non stick spray
- Place cubed bread into sprayed pan
- Mix regular sugar, eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla.
- Pour mixture over bread and let sit for 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix and crumble together brown sugar and butter (if you want to add nuts or chocolate chips, toffee chips, etc, you can do so here).
- Sprinkle brown sugar mixture over top.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes.
Sauce:
- Add sugar, butter, vanilla, and condensed milk to a pot.
- Heat mixture, by stirring frequently.
- Once mixture becomes a rolling boil, continuously stir for 3 minutes.
- Remove mixture from heat and pour over bread pudding as desired!
