Vanilla Cinnamon Bread Pudding – no raisins

Ingredients:

Bread Pudding:

  • 2c sugar
  • 5 large beaten eggs
  • 2c milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 4c cubed stale bread ( cube the bread and leave out over night)
  • 1/2c brown sugar
  • 1/2 stick of butter

Sauce/Topping:

  • 1c sugar
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 can condensed milk

Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Spray 13X9X2 pan with non stick spray
  3. Place cubed bread into sprayed pan
  4. Mix regular sugar, eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla.  
  5. Pour mixture over bread and let sit for 10 minutes.  
  6. In another bowl, mix and crumble together brown sugar and butter (if you want to add nuts or chocolate chips, toffee chips, etc, you can do so here).
  7. Sprinkle brown sugar mixture over top.
  8. Bake for 35-45 minutes.

Sauce:

  1. Add sugar, butter, vanilla, and condensed milk to a pot.
  2. Heat mixture, by stirring frequently.
  3. Once mixture becomes a rolling boil, continuously stir for 3 minutes.
  4. Remove mixture from heat and pour over bread pudding as desired!
