Pumpkin Carving
A week ago we visited the pumpkin patch and the kids picked out their pumpkins. After this weekend’s very filled agenda, we were finally able to sit down and carve them out. We bought the neat little carving kit from Wal Mart and that made it really easy for the kids to do themselves. There were some pretty sharp cutters in there, so we let Patience our 16 y/o do the actual cutting. The little ones had fun scooping out the “guts” and tracing the pictures they chose onto the pumpkin. Here are a few pics.
Hope y’all have a safe and Happy Halloween!
P.S. If you have not taken the kiddos to see Hotel Transylvania yet, you really should. The kids totally LOVED it!

A fun mess!Nice carvings
We took the kids to watch the movie yesterday. It was cute.
Yes, big mess, but they had fun! We went to the movie on Saturday and I laughed throughout it!
Very cool pumpkins! They’ve got so much detail!!
Thanks Barbara. The little kit at Wal Mart really helps a bunch.
I want to celebrate Halloween, but we don’t really have it in Australia. It looks fun
Halloween is always fun. Of course there are safety precautions that must be taken, but with parental supervision the kids really have a great time.
ohhh nice job!! The pumpkins look so good!! I always love carving our pumpkins. I’m an adult & still not so good at it but it’s just fun!! I haven’t even purchased our pumpkin this year…what is wrong with me!?!?
