I’m glad you made a great point about the fact that this program is for those that “slipped through the cracks” of the food stamp program. Having grown up in a “po” family that was too rich to qualify for goverment programs, these people are the most needy people in America.
I thought that was important. I feel many governmental programs ignore the lower bracket working class people. They work hard to earn the little they do but its just too much to get help! So frustrating, while others don’t even try to earn a living and qualify for everything, elderly and disabled excluded from this. They should get help too.
Congratulations Christie!
THank you. It was easy. Volunteer work has a special place in my heart
Congratulations. Just finished reading it..very nicely done.
Thank you!

The poor people aren’t the ones on welfare, its the middle class that is $1.00 over the minimum cutoff point for welfare.
